Experiential Sports Group (Brand – NASHA Sports)

Welcome  to NASHAesgsportsgroup.com

Experiential Sports Group was a business founded in 2009 that provided insurance to minor hockey league teams for 14 years. A not-for-profit corporation, we ended the business in 2023 because insurance rules changed, and we could no longer service our Hockey Clients.

Over the past 14 years, we have built a business offering memberships with many benefits, including sports insurance for Hockey Teams, Year-Round Hockey Schools, Camps, Winter and Spring/Summer Leagues (3 on 3, 4 on 4, 5 on 5 Youth and Adult), and Tournaments. Over the past few years, we have expanded the business into an authentic Hockey Resource and Sanctioning body.

ABOUT NASHA

We provide many resources for Hockey Players through our three-prong approach:

  1. Protect the players with a comprehensive membership that includes insurance in partnership with our Insurance Broker, Player’s Health Cover Canada Inc.
  2. Train your young player with the most extensive online hockey training library from MEMBER HOCKEY TRAINERS’ videos on our YouTube channel. NASHA YOUTUBE CHANNEL
  3. Keep the PLAYERS safe from long-term injuries. Every player protected by the NASHA will receive FREE access to the Players Health APP to track injury and return to play protocols. As players join your programs, you will know everything about their hockey history. PH Rehab is an injury management platform that helps organizations and teams keep athletes safe. It creates injury reports, manages concussion return-to-play, communicates updates, and reduces the risk of injuries falling through the cracks from an APP.

Founded in 2009, NASHA provides a total membership, the most economical, and the best coverage insurance program. Our Insurance Broker is Player’s Health Cover Canada Inc.

The most crucial part of building trust is showing you some of our members nationwide. To see our total member base, click across the page where the finger points to you.

We would love to hear from you and discuss how we can assist you with your business.

Mandate & Mission – Who is NASHA?

NASHA SPORTS is a national sanctioning body for Spring Hockey, Independent Hockey Leagues, Adult Leagues, Hockey Schools, and Independent Tournaments in the country. The organization works with hundreds of members to progress measures to improve the health and safety of hockey players at all levels.

NASHA SPORTS is concerned about the potential risks of injury impacting a player’s current and future life in hockey. Our insurance programs are comprehensive, and program management will ensure the best possible protection.

NASHA SPORTS also announced in November 2019 a new partnership with Player’s Health (https://playershealth.com) to further advance knowledge and policies regarding Player Health and Safety.

Mission Statement

“Partner with corporations working to improve players’ health and safety by bringing programs to the hockey world, not just Spring/Summer programs.”

Vision

Use the Spring/Summer Hockey Platform to improve Health and Safety practices for all Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer program players.

NASHA SPORTS believes…

Having alternatives for Hockey Families is essential to produce the best players possible for University, Professional Hockey and National Teams players;

Parents, coaches and league management must take a more prominent role in the Health and Safety of players;

Players must be given the proper time to recover from injury and removed from the game in some more severe cases. The playing life of a Hockey Player is short, but overall life is long, so all people associated with that player must think of the long term;

All Hockey Schools need to develop proper checking clinics and deliver these teachings to the players;

The hockey game does not need to be reduced in its toughness, but its players must play respectfully.
